2010 PERMACULTURE COURSES BENDIGO
PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE
with optional Certificate III in Permaculture Permaculture provides principles and tools for creating a sustainable human existence. If you are seeking a more sustainable lifestyle, wanting to produce your own food, or are seeking positive solutions to the environmental problems that surround us, join us for a Permaculture Design Course in Bendigo! This course will be run in Semester Two 2010, on Thursday evenings and every second Sunday (excluding school holidays). The cost for this course is $550. We will cover the principles and practices of permaculture and how you can apply these to your daily life. Topics include: Permaculture Ethics & Principles; Large & Small Scale Food Growing Strategies; Economic & Social Permaculture; Plants & Ecology; Reading the Landscape; Patterns in Nature; Climates & Microclimates; Soils and Soil Improvement; Water; Site Assessment; Design strategies; School and Community Gardens. There will also be a range of fieldtrips to working permaculture properties, both large and small scale, in Central Victoria. For enquiries and bookings please contact us. 'INTRODUCTION
TO PERMACULTURE' WORKSHOPS
Our Introduction to Permaculture workshops have proved a very popular format for introducing permaculture concepts. Dependent on your group's needs these can be run over two, three or four days, in a format that suits you. We can run these workshops at your local Neighbourhood House, RESIDENTIAL PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE We regret that our regular Residential PDC held at Commonground will not be running this year due to the Australian Permaculture Convergence (APC10) being held in Cairns in September.
